VORT – Vehicle On Road Test
- Minimum 1 day of training is typically recommended before attempting the VORT.
- The VORT test may be conducted on the same day after training.

Booking Your LR Truck Licence Course
Payment Information
- When making a booking, we require a deposit of $500 to secure the date.
- Payment is due on the day of the training. Payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card or bank account transfer.
- Please note JD’s Truck Training Centre accepts Visa and Mastercard only. There is a 2.3% surcharge on all card transactions.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations will only be accepted in writing.
- Cancellations for courses and/or training must be received at least seven (7) clear business days prior to the commencement of the course. For heavy vehicle licence upgrades, seven (7) business days’ notice is required before the training program commences. Cancellations may incur a full payment charge (as set out in the applicable Proposal).
- The Client will be charged the full fee for the nominated licence class in cases of non-attendance or cancellation without prior written notice within 7 business days, unless, in JDSTTC’s opinion, there are extenuating circumstances.
- If you choose to cancel your course with more than 7 business days’ notice, a $250.00 administration fee will be payable.
- If an enrolled participant is unable to attend a scheduled course or part of a course, the Client may substitute a different participant with the prior consent of JDSTTC, which will not be unreasonably withheld.
What to Bring for Your Truck Licence Training in Adelaide
- Current South Australian Driver’s licence.
- Appropriate footwear must be worn during training e.g. Sport shoes. No open footwear is allowed. Safety Gloves are optional when conducting vehicle checks.
- JD’s Truck Training Centre supplies all vehicles.
- Own vehicles can be supplied. The vehicle must be registered, locally plated (NO Federal Plates), road worthy & insured. The vehicle must be at least 75% loaded with NO Dangerous Goods.
- The applicant will be required to be present at least 15 minutes before the commencement of each lesson.
