Heavy Rigid (HR) Auto
- Duration: 1 day training and assessment (CBT&A or VORT)
- Minimum Age: 19 years
- Must have held a Class C (Car) Licence for at least 2 years (including “P” Plates) or held a MR Licence for 12 months.
- Overseas Licence evidence MUST be provided if SA Licence has been held for less than 2 years.
$1600*
A weekend surcharge of $150 applies in addition to the above price.
Heavy Rigid (HR) Synchromesh
- Duration: 1 day training and assessment (CBT&A or VORT)
- Minimum Age: 19 years
- Must have held a Class C (Car) Licence for at least 2 years (including “P” Plates) or held a MR Licence for 12 months.
- Overseas Licence evidence MUST be provided if SA Licence has been held for less than 2 years.
$1800*
A weekend surcharge of $150 applies in addition to the above price.
Medium Rigid (MR)

Never driven a HR automatic truck on road before but now work’s calling for it so I came and see JD. I went from 0 to hero in a couple of hours, traversing all the road and roundabouts around the Wingfield area. Copped a sore left knee but sure did got my HR at the end of the day. Thanks JD!

I had a wonderful experience with JD, he was really polite and patient and really good at teaching and explaining a variety of road situations. Also very great value service, I'd highly recommend anybody to get their heavy vehicle licence here.
Will hopefully catch JD and the boys around for a game of cricket or a bbq sometime.
